Well-wishes are pouring in from fellow politicians and others in the community for Gord Fuller.
The rookie Nanaimo City Councillor and well-known community activist is in critical condition at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after suffering a massive heart attack on Sunday.
Nanaimo Mayor Bill McKay says he expects to get an update from Fuller’s family on Monday afternoon.
McKay says many in Nanaimo are praying for Fuller’s full recovery.
The Committee of the Whole meeting set for Monday afternoon has been cancelled. All the items will be rolled into next week’s council meeting.
